I noticed with the new york times, and other papers there are so many ads, its hard sometimes to find an actual article. More ads need to pay for the coast of making and distributing the paper. For our paper I think we should be okay. The people who read our paper don't pay for it, so I don't think we will lose readers. When I log onto aol, I see all the headlines of articles they have. Its sad to see online papers overpowering printed newspapers. But the truth is why would people pay $4 for the times when they can get the same information for free online. It sucks because people don't care about quality they care about the price. Also care more about fluff, like the A rod steroids scandal then war and the important issues. I think that is because people dont want to know about the hard news like war, they hide in the fluffy news and entertainment so they wont have to face the real world that is failing at this moment in time. During the great depression and some wars movie theaters were full and the film business took in a lot of money. People used to escape everything going on around them when they were watching movies and involved in someone elses life. I think the same is happening today.
