Good afternoon,
Today you had your first (but certainly not last) experience with News U. You will learn to love this website as it will offer you a multi-media opportunity to hone your skills as a reporter.
Today in class everyone had a chance to register (and write down login info somewhere safe) and work on your leads.
What did you think of the experience? Was it fun? What did you learn? Did it help to practice? Did you like the format?

Well for my first experience with it i guess it was alright. i thought it was pretty interesting actually it seemed cool. i felt that it was pretty helpful and hope that keeps on going that way. =)
well my first experince was a little crazy becouse of the computer not having the right plug ins. after we got that fixed tho it was great they had lessons that actually showed u somthing and not just writing.so overall it was a good time
For my first time using it it was alright. Its handy for visual learners i can definitely see; & really doesn't make writing skills as complicated as they're suppose to seem. Breaks everything down & quizzes you afterwards so you can understand what you need to pratice & continue on. Personally, i'm not used to having online tools such as these and hopefully i'll adjust to this and find this as a great resource to use during writing for this english class (:
My first time using this website overall went pretty well. It wasnt complicated and easy to register. Everything you need is right in front of you, there was no guessing. The site seem really interesting, there was a lot of stuff it had to offer. From what i saw it really broke down all topic aspects so you would understand them.
My first time using NewsU was okay.
I didn't really get much done. Basicly regerstration was easy, and the farthest i got was wat u told me to go on some lead thing. It seems like a pretty cool web site that alot of us can learn from and pick up help if needed.
I also think this web site is ganna make the class alot easier and less waste of time becuase if a student has a hard time with something they dont have to disrupt the class. All they have to do is go on the web and figure it out.
My first experience with this web site was actually interesting. I liked it in the way that in the lead lab activity, it showed many visuals, such as the chemical beakers . It made it more fun to actually learn about the leads. The information on the leads was very explanatory. It broke down what you needed to know and gave great examples. I learned that there were so many different kinds of leads, like the emblem lead and the round up lead, which I didn't even know. I also tested myself on guessing what kind of lead it was, and without even reading about all of them, I did pretty well. I liked it.

For my first expierence with the site, I think that it was interesting. It got me more into program. Well for a further reference I think its going to help me as well as my fellow peers. The acess to the work is just in the website. When students can forget 2 write down or just forget they can just go to the site. I like it and look foward to using it in the future.
Newsu sounds like a helpful, informational website. From what i've seen if I need help with anything I can go to newsu. Material that would be hard is explained in an easy interative way. Games are also used to test your knowledge. I like how everything was interactive and reasy to learn. Overall I think newsu will be handy in the future.

My experiance today with the computers wasnt that great the computer was not working! so i went to a diffrent computer then i finally got on to the NEWSU website which i thought was very kool and very helpful it gave me information on leads and what is needed in a lead it was very helpful i like going on the website newsu.
well i was gladly to enroll in the newsu website, because now i'll be able to learn thing much quicky at home then at school where im gonna have to wait for the next day! This can also help me because in case i wish to join a journalism new paper or something else that has to do with journalism. i can greatly adavance myself from the copmuter at home with out the hassel! im glad to have such a smart and excelent teacher like you. dispite the fact i need alot more pratice with my leads because i feel im still no ready for it. well this is an exciting momenent in my lifehood exprience. well for my first expirence on the website it waz kind of good because it had some fun games but i mostly only liked one. It really teaches you about english but in fun ways. so wat i think iz dat it waz pretty good.
For the first time using it, i found some thing to be quite interesting. I surfed the site and saw that they had tips on how to become a better writer. I honestly think that maybe if i had spent a little more time with i would really be able to see how fun it can be. (sorry forthe late post Mrs. S)

My first time using news you was okay i didnt really get to do very much because the plugin for the program to show up wasnt there, but in the last few minutes i got on and it was pretty cool way to learn new things
my first experience with the website was cool . i finally get how to use it and it makes newspaper easier to ascess its only a click away . its a great resorce =]

for my first experience on newsu i was good. it seemed interesting. it can be very helpful. at first it was pretty hard to register because the computer was having problems but later i got it and explored it and i thought its a website that we can learn alot from.
