Our mission is to maintain a free and open press that encourages student submissions and ideas, to truthfully inform the student body and surrounding community about current and interesting information that pertains to our school in a fair and balanced, unbiased manner. We seek to convey our message in a clear way for audiences of all ages. We work to have a respectful and academic tone to speak to the importance of what we do.

I think overall this is a really great mission statement. It focuses on many different ideas this newspaper wants to portray. I think the reader will have a better understanding about our paper and the way we run it after reading this mission statement. I don't think anything needs to be added or subtracted.
After reading this mission statement a couple of times I can see this is how the class wants to represent this newspaper and it has every goal we need to accomplish. I dont think anything needs to be changed as of yet...yet.

I really liked the mission statement that we came up with, because a lot of the people in the class gave their ideas when creating it, and when writing it down it flowed and came together. A lot of what I was thinking about came into the mission statement, but of course in a different sentence structure. I agree fully with the statement and I think it is something our class can accomplish doing when we write our news. We know we have to make it entertaining, clear and respectful enough to read because there are a variety of different groups and personalities in the school and we never know who we might offend when writing a news story. I think it speaks out to all the varieties of topics we chose.
i think its pretty well writen but it also our school news paper has to have respect for the readers the school its self and most of all it represents the writers but other then that i think nothing else needs to be subtracted or added
I think that this mission statement is perfect because we want and should be able to complete all the parts of that sentence. It states what's important in a newspaper but also what we should add to capture our audience.
i like this mission statement . it makes a lot of sence and verifys the many points of a good paper .

i say that the mission statment is really good becouse it talks about many good points that reader will be intrested in reading about so my opinion is that nothing needs to be added or subtracted from it
i agree with the mission statement, there not much to say cause nothing really needs to be added, but it good, very good cause one it effects all our personality and really gives eveon's own oppion which is good for the student bodie.
I agree with our mission statment i think that it explines everything that we want to say. :)
after reading the mission statement i can see how the calls wants to represent the newspaper.
